Do I need an existing Stripe account to use Reeve.Commerce?
No. If your business doesn't already have one, Reeve creates a Stripe payment account for you as part of the setup process. You'll receive a link to complete sign-up, and once you do, you're ready to accept payments.
Who is allowed to start the payment setup on my behalf?
Only your business or systems you've explicitly authorized can initiate the Stripe connection. Reeve checks authorization before creating anything, so your payment account can't be set up by an unauthorized party.
Does my product catalog connect to Commerce automatically?
Yes. For host apps that are properly linked to an organization account, catalog access is enabled by default. That means the items and prices you manage are available at checkout without any additional configuration — unless catalog access has been explicitly disabled for your setup.
Can Commerce touch another organization's catalog or payment data?
No. Reeve's catalog and payment features are scoped strictly to your organization. A host app can only manage data for its own account — not for any other tenant on the system.
