Only authenticated users or applications that have been explicitly approved by your organization can initiate or complete a connection. Unauthorized requests are blocked before any credentials are saved or any authorization link is generated.

For providers that support verification, Reeve.Connects actively checks the credentials before saving them. For Slack bot tokens specifically, it validates the token with Slack's API before finalizing the workspace connection — so you know it's live, not just stored.
