Every query is scoped at the organization, brand, and personal level before results are returned. The system checks authorization on every search and filters out anything outside the requester's permitted scope.
Who can update or delete memory items?
Only verified applications or authenticated users can update items. Deletions require proper authorization, and certain items — such as pinned or permanent entries — are protected from removal. A full report is returned after any deletion so you know exactly what changed.
What happens to nested items when I delete a parent memory item?
Reeve.Memory removes the specified item and everything nested beneath it in one operation. Items with special protections are skipped rather than force-deleted, and the response tells you what was removed and what was skipped.
